So far, so good

Baby Guanaco got me an early Christmas present: a stainless steel thermos. I gotta tell ya, folks, this thing is fabulous! I didn't spill any coffee anywhere today, the coffee is still hot 2 hours after I made it (yum!), and the thermos itself is brightly striped and cheerful. Very nice. Gold star to Baby G! Thanks!

Baby G and I made Bangers & Mash for dinner: perfect for a cold night (see gourmet table presentation, left). I also finished wrapping my family's Christmas gifts last night. It's sooo good to be done with that business: now I can watch more TV. I didn't work on my journal entries at all yesterday -- I just couldn't concentrate. It didn't help that VH1 ran a marathon of American's Next Top Model all day yesterday. Oh well, that's what the last minute is for, right?

UPDATE: Kitty Bed Mayhem! As I have previously reported, Daxie finally discovered the Kitty Bed I bought for him in September and no longer sleeps in a shoebox.

Unfortunately Mr. Emerson, seeing that Daxie was enjoying something , had to take a test-drive of the bed himself. This will not bode well...

Now that there's competition for the comfy kitty haven, Daxie has apparently been driven to gaurd said Kitty Bed day and night and has become a mean drunk. Merry Christmas and to all, a Good Night!
