Confessions on a Dirty Carpet
Dog Mania. Pals D&M have adopted two cute pups and have started a new blog, The Dogblog Experiment, to document their 'bringing up baby'. Em has also adopted a four-legged friend, Moose. Congrats, new dog-owners. Have fun buying new underwear and shoes every week! [wink!] Seriously, I know you will enjoy the new creatures in your life and all the love you'll get from them.
In other small-creature news: Daxie FINALLY 'discovered' the kitty bed I bought him and sat in it instead of a shoebox. It only took 3 months. That's my baby -- the dim little fella sittin' in a shoebox. He apparently likes the bed so much, he took a nap in it. Pics to come.
What's in a name? Apparently, everything. The Bushies are trying to figure out what to call those crazy folks in Iraq who keep blowing things up. According to Rumsfeld, insurgent isn't the right term anymore. You know, if the Administration would spend the amount of time they spend on naming problems actually fixing them, we'd have been out of Iraq months ago. I'm just sayin'.

Moose and I appreciate the shout-out! So far, he has showed little interest in leather shoes (thank god), but the underwear is starting to spark his interest unfortunatley.
Speaking of government naming projects, the state of Colorado is big on naming their highway projects, so the interstate construction project in Denver is T-Rex and in Colorado Springs, it's CosMix. Now if you are going to spend all of this time and money coming up with names, don't you think you could at least come up with a GOOD name?
CosMix sounds like intergalactic dog food.
not trying to open a can of worms, but that's why i kinda like ole jim gilchrist. more action and less words...
Open the can!
If our "leaders" actually lead, then I think society would be much better off. Gosh, they spend so much time formulating just the right words and worrying about polls that they have NO CLUE what the people of this country want: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Sheesh.
