When it rains, it pours

I've been home all day with flu. I left work early yesterday because I felt like crap. To make a bad situation worse, Emerson collapsed suddenly yesterday when I was unlocking the front door to go in. The vet tried to save him, but he didn't make it. I'm still in shock.

Baby G had Emerson as a pet since he was a tiny kitten. He was the only one in his litter to crawl into her lap and take a nap, so it was love at first sight, ya know?

I'm so sorry about Emerson. Please let us know if we can do anything for either one of you.

thanks.
Emerson lived a good life. and, he got to go outside one last time on a sunny day. he will be missed, a lot. but, i'll always have lots of great and cranky memories of him, not to mention, some really cute pictures.

This news has made me very, very sad. Emerson and I were just getting to know each other enough to where I could pet him!

I'm sorry Baby G...his stylish good looks and brooding attitude will live on in our memories.

Sorry to hear about Emerson. He was a cool cat, one of the few who ever hooked me.

I'm sure he is having fun in the kitty afterlife harassing Gerry's cat Mabel.

I'm very, very sorry to hear about Emerson. I'm glad he sent you a few Christmas cards while he had a chance.

I send my sympathies... Emerson was an awesome cat. I have a photo of him on his back that I used as my ID on facebook... I supposed I identified with him and his belly. :) He lived a full life.
