Anything you want, you got it
Gentle Readers, do any of you use a French Press to make your coffee? I'm quite curious about them but wonder if using them would take too much time in the morning. (I'm not exactly a morning-robot.) I hear these contraptions make coffee that's much more flavorful than your average countertop drip coffeemaker.
Movies I've watched in the past week:
- Shadow of the Thin Man
- The Matrix: Reloaded
- The 40-year-old Virgin
- The Matrix: Revolutions (my least favorite of the three)
- Hellboy (twice)
- Murder by Death (Only the first 1/2, it was on tv & my parents called midway through and I missed the rest.)
- Saved! (if you haven't seen this, rent it now)
So, as you can see, I've clocked quite a bit of couch time in the past 7 days. I did go shopping and to a neighborhood meeting last night, so I'm not a complete sloth. I'm off to the DMV later --- time for a new car tag. That means a long wait in line for an emissions inspection. Joy.

I have not used one but my boss did at the Fine Arts Library. He used it in his office and I never heard any sounds of evil emanating from it. They made exceptionally strong coffee but maybe that was just him....
In any event, they are much chic-er than a regular coffee pot!
WUV!

So true, mmmmmm... french press coffee. Of course I'm just slowly getting addicted to coffee, so it's more a matter of having some than what kind.
Did you know I almost bought one of these last summer in Cali?
Well you can blame our parents for my coffee addiction. They gave me a little 4-cup pot for graduation and I've been indulging ever since. Sure, I'm nowhere near their 12-cup-a-day consumption of the stuff, but if I don't have any in the morning, I get the world's worst headache around 2:45pm....just in time for RTG to start being his most annoying.
I like coffee in the morning. I usually only have what the machine calls 2-3 cups. I bring it to work in my little thermos and nurse it until about 10:30. I rarely buy a cup of coffee --- unless I'm desperate to stay awake. Plus, it's so much cheaper to make your own and I'd rather spend my money on beer.
