Should Old Acquaintance be Forgot

Auld Lang Syne. I never did get the lyrics to that song. Neither do many other folks it seems. That makes me feel a bit better. Apparently the Japanese use the tune to signal customers that it's time to get out. I wish I could play it when RTG or Dopey come by.

Speaking of those two--yesterday, Dopey wanted to know why some lines in his spreadsheet were bigger than others. I showed him how to adjust the row size and explained to him that cells are adjustable. How much you wanna bet he'll be back tomorrow asking the same exact question? Don't answer that.

As for RTG, I gave him a holiday card with a chocolate candy taped to it yesterday because I gave everyone in my department a card & candy yesterday. He, of course, sent me a loquacious thank you email. While I always appreciate gratitude, he has a certain gift for making gratitude annoying. Below is full text. Apparently we are also now "friends". Please pardon me while I relieve my nausea. Especially.

Thank you very much for the cute card – and especially since it has candy attached. I completely love Reeses cups, especially those little miniature ones. So that is an especially nice afternoon-pick-me-up. I sure enjoy working with you and I learn a lot from you. Thanks for being such a great colleague and friend! Happy Holidays to you also!

That email seems to have been written by me, 15 years ago to my Grammie. "Gee, I really liked the books you got me. I'm going to use the money to buy some Barbies and a speedboat. You sure did make Christmas great!" And the BMI thing?? Makes me want to barf, thereby reducing my own BMI.
When are Bruiser and Brandine going to make their blog debut?

Bruiser and Brandine are still in 'digital storage'. Don't worry, they'll debut soon.
