Ow. Hot.

Stupid me didn't secure the lid to my coffee mug this morning. Yeah, you know what's coming. When I went to take a gulp, my gulp went all over my leg. Big fun. I'm sure the other drivers got a kick out of seeing me hopping around my seat and mouthing curses at myself (the windows were up, remember?). Thank god I didn't wear light colors today.

Last night, Baby G and I went to see Hitchhiker's Guide. Guess who opened the door of the theater for us? Mr. Shane Battier himself. Baby G had no clue who he was (she's not a dork like me). I played it cool, telling him thank you for holding the door. He's soooo tall! His tiny blonde wisp of a ladyfriend smiled as she looked on. Oh yeah, you probably want to know about the movie...it was great! I'm sure the DVD will be loaded.

I am so jealous. I love Shane Battier. I'm not sure I could have played it off so cool. How cool!

Ooh, celeb fun!! How many Grizzlies live in Memphis anyway? I didn't know it was bear country! JK.
Yesterday I was watching the ultra-schmaltzy Extreme Makeover: Wedding Edition and they had a "special guest" sing for the bride and groom. It was Liza Minnelli. It made me think of you because of the David Gest phenomenon that occurred a few months ago. Good times!

I want Liza to sing at my wedding! Ahhh!

(Favorite Liza movie: Arthur with Dudley Moore. Pure 80s weirdness.)

K in LR: I would have kidnapped the Shane had I known your love for him. Perhaps I'll see him in the neighborhood again?

(chomp chomp) you know, this is actually the second time i (chomp) have had the door opened for me by a memphis athelete--the first being Jerry "the King" Lawler at the Kozy Korner. (chomp chomp chomp) i must say mr. lawler was much more graceful than mr. battier. excuse (chomp chomp) the eating--the grass is just so nice and green and tender this time of year.
