A little irony in my diet

Does anyone else enjoy the irony of the seemingly ubiquitous "Support the Troops" car magnets? I mean, come on, who else but sheep-like consumerist Americans would decorate their vehicles to support troops toppling the regime of an oil-rich country? Perhaps the ribbons should say, "Hey, thanks, poor kids for dying in the desert so that I can drive my gas-guzzling Hummer to the corner store."
