Geraldine Ferraro reminds you that your vote doesn't really matter, Stupid

Ferraro (remember her form '84?) wrote this op-ed in the NYT stating that super-delegates are around to keep us lowly citizens from actually choosing who the Democratic nominee will be. As an Independent voter her editorial pisses me off; however, I can see why Democrats would want control over their nominee. Who cares what us wacky Indies think?!

On the other hand, I'd like to think no one actually believes a Republican will come out the winner in November, not after the past 7 years, so the Dems should lighten the fuck up and get Hillary and Obama to quit slinging mud at each other. It's getting ridiculous. Or, maybe all this super-delegate bullshit will piss off any would-be Dem supporters and McCain will win by default?
