The Party of Inclusion?

Perhaps not. The Obama/Clinton debate in Austin is invitation-only. Sure, you can go to a public watch party at a local hotel and see it on the teevee, but that'll cost you $50. Sheesh.

I believe I'll stay home and watch from the comfort of my couch for FREE.

UPDATE: Here's a thought to make your lunch turn liquid: McCain and Rice? (!)

ANOTHER UPDATE: The state Dem party is having a lottery for 100 tix to the debate. While it's not much, it's something. Geez. Does anyone else wanna smoke up right now?

The "Debate"

I put the term in quotes because last week's chat between gay & lesbian panel members and six Democratic wasn't a debate at all. The candidates were interviewed, talk-show style about their stance on various gay issues. I only saw bits & pieces of it, so here's someone else's review. I have to say I was surprised that Clinton & Edwards were the shining stars of the evening and that Obama kinda pooped out early on. Hmmm...
