Eww.

Okay, now I've heard everything. Check out this article on a Yale senior art student:

"Art major Aliza Shvarts '08 wants to make a statement. Beginning next Tuesday, Shvarts will be displaying her senior art project, a documentation of a nine-month process during which she artificially inseminated herself "as often as possible" while periodically taking abortifacient drugs to induce miscarriages. Her exhibition will feature video recordings of these forced miscarriages as well as preserved collections of the blood from the process."

From the "I Could Totally Do That" files, vol.2

Oops. You work for two days straight, creating a colorful work of art out of sand and some kid comes along and tap dances all over it.

Reminds me of the shit I used to pull when I was a little kid... I mean, when you're three, who wouldn't want to dance on pretty sand? Fortunately for the kid, the monks are zen guys who seem to appreciate the "extra" struggle his dance caused. Woah. And I thought Catholic guilt was bad...these guys take suffering to a whole new level.

From the "I Could Totally Do That" files

Wow, $73million for a painting of colorful squares. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate Mr Rothko's work; however, I get frustrated because it often reminds me of the paintings I did in kindergarten.

Hmmm...perhaps mom kept those? I'll have to call her.

Art=o=matic

Do you make small works of art?

You could sell them via an Art-o-mat! How cool is that?
