We are the model of a modern major general.
We are nerds.
Lawrence: No. No, man. Shit, no, man. I believe you'd get your ass kicked sayin' something like that, man.

Me too! I compared it to being like the first day of spring, so fresh, and nearly everyone you pass has an extra spring in their step.
Unfortunately, I still have a few fear mongering relatives trying to bring me down. But they can't! Oh no!
Here's what I posted on this on my much less important social networking blogs:
I'm happy Obama and many democrats got elected; and it was nice to see classic McCain give an honorable concession speech. It seems that there were not major problems or discrepancies at polling places this time. . . it's very good to see democracy functioning. It was of course wonderful to hear Obama's inspiring victory speech, and to know that there is no doubt that he is clearly and emphatically the winner of the race.
After 8 years of brutal disappointment, it's nice to be able to be proud of America again, and to see a prime example of an "American Dream" become reality. Cheers to all--drinks all around!
I am all at once: filled with joy, relieved the current long campaign is over, appreciative of everyone's hard work, and hopeful for the new administration. I remain however cautiously optimistic. There's a A LOT on the line, and I'd like to see it go well.
Addendum:
Barack Obama is an awesome, and not to mention handsome, guy. I look forward to having a president that I can sincerely cheer for.
Me too! Me too!
