Yep, we finally reached the "number of the beast" or whatever. What to blog about on this momentous occasion? Generic Evil? Dubya? Halliburton? FLDS Wackos? Death metal?

Nah. Too easy, too boring.

Instead, I bring you Lowly Worm. He's a worm that not only wears hats and bow ties, but a shoe. A lace-up shoe at that. One, why does a worm need a shoe, and two, how does he tie it? He's got no hands! But seriously, as a child I read all of Richard Scarry's oeuvre. I loved Lowly Worm. He drove a car shaped like an apple.

Lowly Worm's not evil per se, but he does seem to have some sort of satanic assistance...those shoelaces don't just tie themselves.
