Yours truly is a delegate to the county convention! Baby G and I caucused last night, along with about 460 other folks in our precinct, a huge turn-out. Turns out our pal Lindsay, along with both D and M of DM, are also delegates! Woohoo!

What exactly does this mean?
Basically it means we go sit in the Expo Center all day three weeks from Saturday while we participate in the County Democratic Convention.
There we'll elect delegates to go to State, who, at that convention in June, will elect delegates to go to National in August, who will officially nominate either Obama or Clinton to be on the national Democratic ticket as Presidential candidate.
Clear as mud? It's okay -- I only just learned the whole system myself this morning online. :-)

Speaking of voting and all, what's your take on the latest Project Runway winner?
I predicted Christian would win from the beginning. Mostly because he was brave enough to leave the house with that wacky hair AND he worked with Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood, two top-tier designers.
I felt Jillian was a decent designer, but her collection lacked the total "package" feel that Christian's had. And Rami, well, at least it wasn't all draping...sigh.
As for the electoral college, I'll get back to you on that. :-)
