Re-Made in China
Well, golly gee! First there was that "silly" worry over the high levels of smog in Beijing but now any worries about China's human rights violations can be put to bed, as the U.S. has taken China off the list of Top 10 human rights violators. Seriously.
China is currently cracking down HARD on Tibetan protesters. As in, they're rounding up "dissidents" and threatening them with all kinds of nasty.
WTF? What's next? Is the whole city to be painted a nice ecru to cover up the dirt and some potted plants strewn around to really brighten up the place? I guess the Olympic committee gave Beijing the games in an attempt to get China to soften some of its political and economic policies and in doing so, become some sort of "world player" or whatever. It's just disappointing to see the voice of political dissent is being blatantly stamped out while the rest of the world doesn't give a damn, much less does anyth...
Hey! Look over there! Britney Spears!
I give up.
