Dolls
When I was a kid I would salivate over the American Girl Dolls catalog, dreaming about owning one of those $100 dolls and all the accessories that matched. Alas, my parents didn't deem the dolls worthy of their hefty pricetag and I settled for Malibu Barbie instead.
Today's girls, however, have a wide variety of dolls to choose from, including one of the newest, Ivy, the Asian-American doll. She even comes with her own gong. I'm not kidding. [Giant eye roll.]

It's been a long day. I read that, and I thought it said the doll comes with a bong.
That's a whole different kinda doll....
I don't know what you mean...I carry a gong with me everywhere. They make them pocket-sized now, you know, which makes things easier. So, I carry a pocket-gong because it's much more convenient than the traditional full-sized ones.
We asked our nieces what they wanted for Christmas and the good, younger ones said "American Girl dolls!" We asked how much they cost and were appalled. So we decided to fashion "Canadian Girl" dolls which Dave would make out of corn husks and other stuff he found around the house.
They were not amused. :)
Love ya!
