Kurt Vonnegut died yesterday from complications from a fall. He was 84.
I still remember the first time I read Breakfast of Champions, how eye-opening and funny that book was. It's still a favorite of mine.

Democracy Now! had a nice tribute Thursday morning. The part with Vonnegut reading from Mark Twain's anti-imperialist screed seemed quite apt.
