Libby found Guilty

On four out of five counts, Scooter Libby was found guilty in federal court. There are tons of links out there, here is one. Even CNN is covering it. So what happens now? I don't really know; more investigations, more of what we already know; namely that the administration is good at politics but terrible at governance; that they are crooks in the Nixonian sense of the word. I don't know. Just try not to get too cynical when he gets probation. And this is on top of both the Walter Reed Hospital scandal and the evolving fired US attorney scandal.

You've hit the nail on the head. I'm glad Libby was found guilty, now if only his former boss would be tried... I'm not holding my breath.

I heard an archivist from GWU's Nat'l Security Archive talk about all the documents from the Libby trial this morning. It was like being in 8th grade again ---

"Ohmigawd! Did you see what so-n-so wrote about me in the school paper?! I'm gonna tear that bitch's eyes out!"

As we all know, Dick Cheney is a vindictive little twit, as is his pal Rove. Unfortunately, even though the documents show just how far they would go to smear someone who'd discredit the Administration's 2003 yellowcake claims, those two tyrants will never be charged with any crime. Instead, thousands of people (our soldiers and Iraqi civilians) have died.

I'm going to puke.

Yay! I like how even the jurors were like "he's the fallguy for the white house." Jeesh. Everyone can see through it!
