Not black enough? Are you serious?
Sen. R. Ford (D) of North Carolina, an African American, has endorsed Hillary Clinton for the Democratic presidential nomination. There's nothing controversial about that. What is embarrassing is Ford says he won't support Barack Obama because having a black candidate would hurt all Democratic candidates in 2008 elections:
Wow, how much do you have to hate yourself that you can't endorse someone like Obama because he isn't the same "black" as you? Obama is great! Apparently, some people don't think so because he didn't have The Black Experiencetm or something. Well, none of the 43 presidents thus far have had the black experience and black people voted for them! I don't care what color the guy is --- he's a breath of fresh air in a stale political climate. I'd vote for him over Hilary any day. Go Obama!

Like you didn't know it would come to this? I've been waiting a while for this to happen. Its my belief that the opposition will always try to split the "black vote" by smearing a black candidate as not being black enough, or in the case of Al Sharpton, being too black.
I totally believe that questions of blackness always originate from the white opposition.
But when blacks themselves buy into that crap, it's so disheartening. I'm not saying a black person should vote for another black person simply b/c he or she is also black, but for a black person to say something like what Ford did here, it's just ridiculous.
Ah, South Carolina: land of the fire eaters, home of Bob Jones University, and the state where W's ratfuckers performed one of the all-time classic smear jobs -- on John McCain. Smiling faces, beautiful places, indeed.
HRC would make an excellent candidate for POTUS on the Republican side... which isn't to say that ratfucking is strictly a GOP exercise. They just do a much better job than the Dems, who in turn do a much better job than the Libertarians, who do a much better job than the Greens; you see how this works. All towards increasing voter turnout and promoting democracy, you understand.
