In honor of the Oscars this weekend, I'd like to present my humble wish list for various movie themed parties. Please feel free to incorporate any of these ideas into your own cinematic evenings.

I will only attend these parties on one condition: dress-up is encouraged (or required but it's your party). Especially Dolly Parton night!!! HELL YES! Then we can hop the trolley to Pigeon Forge and rock out kuntry-style!

I hope Dolly Night would somehow feature the listening of the "Islands in the Stream" duet with Kenny Rogers.
Challenge for you: What movies would you group with L.A. Story (not to be confused with L.A. Confidential)?
Another challenge: How would you develop a librarian theme, with or without Noah Wylie's Librarian movies?
Hmmmm...well, for the librarian theme, I'd show Party Girl, and Desk Set.
As for L.A. Story, I actually meant to put that in my "Silly Men" category. Brain fart, I guess.
