Shelby was right. It does look like a brown football helmet!

Last night I saw the new Gap ad for "skinny" pants. Apparently "skinny" is in. (Ed. note: Um, I thought skinny was always "in" in the fashion industry...?) Cutesy little Audrey Hepburn dances around in her black beatnik outfit to AC/DC's Back in Black. (So imaginative.) At the end the tagline reads, the skinny black pant is back.

Yay.

The 'funny' thing is only Audrey Hepburn can wear that kind of pants. And she's dead. So who will wear this silly trendy pant? Doesn't Gap know that a ridiculous number of Americans are obese and the rest are starving themselves? Anyone not in these categories probably doesn't wanna shell out $58 on a pair of super-tiny pants that probably won't fit after the first washing. (Here's an idea. Just buy some freakin' leggings.)

Oh, and one more thing. Notice that Gap does not sell womens' sizes 18 & 20 in their stores, only online. They'll take fat folk's money, but Gap doesn't want their customer's fat asses clogging up their stores or fitting rooms. Hmmm... sounds like discrimination to me.

yeah, fuck the gap and the skinny pants. don't worry t. they hate short people too. they only sell their petite line online, never in their stores.

oh, and speaking of the fact that audrey hepburn is dead.....i was returning something at gap and the overweight sales lady was complaining about how no one except for the lady in the commercial could look good in skinny pants. i got the impression that she did not know who the lady is or that she is dead! people are so dumb!
