Wed-nes-day
After yesterday's nano-Katrina things are very slowly getting back to normal around the library. Sort of. I went upstairs to see Special Collections. It's a mess. The carpet has been ripped up, all the furniture moved, and giant fans are everywhere. In one word: depressing.
Baby G is now a veritable hero around here -- many compliments have been showered upon her this morning. (See, Baby G? People like you! They really like you!) Good job, Baby G!
Big shout-out to Mel-a-rific for making me and Baby G dinner last night--black bean & bacon burrito dinner. My pants are a bit tight this morning, but dinner was yum!
SOAP Update: Despite my instincts to do otherwise, Baby G has talked me into seeing Snakes on a Plane Thursday night at 10pm. As you know, 10pm is my bedtime. As you may also know, I am Baby G's bitch. If I don't fall asleep in the middle of it, I'll post a review of the film on Friday.
Almost 2,000 thousand fat people still don't know how to spell.

Tell everyone over there I think they're sweethearts, TR. Really, I was happy to help, and I wasn't doing anything anyway. I would certainly have hated to see so many Foucault and even Wm. James titles get thrown away. As for that poster of former Pres. Reagan, I think you kids are better off ebaying that than keeping it.
Shiiiiiit, that poster went into el trashcan. (Not really, but I like to imagine it did.)
"I've had it with these mutherfukin' floods in this mutherfuckin' liberry!"
I'm sorry...I had to do it. And, as I said before, that sucks...books and water don't mix (...yet...). But, I'm glad ya'll liked the dinner.
Dude, it had bacon in it -- of course we liked it!
