Friday morning: not for the faint of heart
It was hard to get out of bed this morning. Last night, Jake & Natalie rolled into town. We had mexican food for dinner, went to the Alamo Drafthouse to see The Grace Lee Project, saw the bats fly out from under the Congress Ave bridge, and laughed ourselves silly over pints at Fado.
I am wiped out and the children's book I'm supposed to be cataloging right now seems like calculus. Instead of tackling it, I've been looking up tickets for the upcoming Dixie Chicks concert. I'm not a big fan of their music (it's damn catchy, I've just never really gotten around to buying any albums) but I do support their politics (I am ashamed of the things the president does, too). I just don't know if I have $139.50 lying around for a couple hours of loud music.
Wow, I sound really old, don't I? ("You whippersnappers better turn that noise down!...")
Okay, okay...back to work. Grandma Robot, signing off.
