I've been cataloging "big books" all day.
"Big books?" You remember... they're those physically huge books your teacher used to whip out in the 2nd grade about Billy Bob's pesky pet goat or Jippy the Jumpy Junebug or something else supposedly entertaining. She'd hold up said big book and read aloud to you and your classmates, her disembodied head hanging over the spine as she "magically" read the upsidedown words.
These honkers are not fun to process. For one thing, they're unwieldy paperback giants. For another, they have multiple accompanying parts (like cassette tapes and tiny versions of the big book). Trying to keep these muthers together is like herding cats.
This afternoon has been the bearer of an odd sensation of Alice in Wonderland gone wrong: some of the books are too big, some too small. Fortunately once I finish this batch, I don't have to catalog any more of them. In fact, in less than one hour, I get to go home and crack a six.

I think cataloging those books would be fun! But that's because I would be reading about all those pesky goats and junebugs...well, not the junebug because I hate them. I'm adding that to the list...
Love!
